April 14, 2018. For the second year, Couvent des Jacobins has the pleasure to welcome the closing concert of Les Grands Crus Musicaux, the classical music festival blending classical music and fine wine, in July 2018. The concert will be an open-air affair, taking place in the former garden of prayers of the Jacobin Borthers at the heart of Saint-Émilion.

Marc Laforêt, the artistic director of the festival, proposes again this year a magnificent program, this time with the exceptional duo formed by celebrated French pianist François-René Duchâble and celebrated French actor Alain Carré, on the theme « Mon piano, c'est ma vie » ( « My piano is my life » ) and compositions of Fréderic Chopin and Franz Liszt.

The concert will take place on July 26, 2018 at 08.30pm (20h30) at Couvent des Jacobins, 10 rue Guadet, in Saint-Émilion. A wine cocktail will follow.
