May 2, 2018. For the seventh year, Couvent des Jacobins is pleased to welcome the philosophy festival Philosophia. The 2018 theme of this 12th edition of the festival is "the truth", with varied conferences around truth in the media, in business, or in justice and numerous panelists debtating this important topic in today's society. Couvent des Jacobins will be welcoming a c onference by philosophy professors Sylvie Hello, Eric Hello and Laurent Neveu on the theme "the art of the lie", in the open air garden of the Jacobin monks (weather permitting). The conference will take place on Sunday 27 May at Couvent des Jacobins, 10 rue Guadet in Saint-Emilion. The conference is free of charge.
