Couvent des Jacobins delivers a 'masterclass' at the Swiss Hospitality Management School in Lausanne
Couvent des Jacobins was thrilled to lead a 'masterclass' of wines of Couvent des Jacobins at the Swiss Hospitality Management School (École Hôtelière de Lausanne, or E.H.L.), in Lausanne on December 10, 2019. Denis POMARÈDE, Couvent des Jacobins' winemaker and director, met with nearly two-dozen students of the School. Vintages from the past 5 decades were tasted during the 'masterclass', to discover the marque de fabrique of Couvent des Jacobins and the ageing potential of its wines, across vintages, weather patterns, berry concentration and winemaking evolutions. Denis also introduced the 2015 vintage of CALICEM, the exceptional cuvée made from very old vines. Many thanks to E.H.L. for your warm welcoming and the great organization!
