Welcome to the first berries of Couvent 2020! 

September 11 is one of the earliest harvest starting date for nearly a decade at Couvent. The 2018 and 2019 harvests had started nearly 10 days later. Weather conditions are great, berries are ripe and healthy, and the early harvest date will allow them to keep a great acidity and energy in the berries. 

The 2020 harvest is likely to be shorter than in the previous vintages. We are starting with the young merlots and will progress slowly to the cabernets francs (plateau, rivalon hill) and then to the petit vedot. s'annonce We will be thrilled to share with you our progress over the coming days.
