Tippling Club Singapore welcomes Couvent for a Private Dinner
Tippling Club, an institution in Singapore regularly featuring in the "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" and "Asia's 50 Best Bars" rankings, welcomed Couvent de Jacobins for a private dinner.
We were thrilled to participate to this wine pairing menu, prepared by Chef de Cuisine Ryan Clift and his amazing, talented and smiley team. The menu featured numerous amuse-bouche, beetroot, monkfish, Anjou pigeon, all paired with curated wines from Couvent: Couvent 2013 and its great freshness; Couvent 2014 and its petit Verdot complexity, finally opening up after a few years in the bottle. Menu 2013, a great fruit forward pairing with the desert; and, rarely in Singapore, CALICEM 2015 served on the pigeon.
We are observing with great joy that life is coming back to the hospitality industry after a tough few years. There is still some time when life comes back to normal. But the happiness of our restaurant partners and their customers makes our job as winemaker the reason we continue to craft great wines. Merci!
